Garrett Scotthas been named managing director ofColliers | South Carolina’s Greenville office.
He joined the company in 2014 and helped open the firm’s Spartanburg office in 2018.
After 27 years with a local industrial development firm, Scott transitioned to brokerage services, focusing on leasing, sales and development advisory services for industrial properties throughout the Greenville-Spartanburg market and the Southeast. He has been involved in the planning, acquisition and implementation of more than 31 industrial parks and 38 million square feet of industrial space in key manufacturing and distribution markets.
He is an active member of both the Colliers Logistics & Transportation Group and Colliers’ Automotive Desk. He is a current board member of The Piedmont Club and former board member of Clemson University’s Board of Visitors and The Humanities Council. He is also a member of the South Carolina Economic Developers’ Association and Spartanburg Association of Realtors.
Scott is a graduate of Clemson University and has obtained the professional designation of Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).
